Elia M. Barragán November 6, 1929 June 26, 2006 Elia M. Barragan, age 76, entered into rest June 26, 2006 in Del Rio, Texas. Elia was a native Del Rioan having been born on November 6, 1929. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Mario G. Barragán, Sr., son Mario Barragán, Jr. and wife Celia of New Braunfels, TX, daughter Elia Gladis Barragán of Santa Rosa, CA, brothers Luis Martinez and wife Frances of San Jose, CA, Genaro Moran and wife Hilda of San Jose, CA, and five grandchildren. Pallbearers, Armando Barragán, Mario A. Barragán, Benjamín Gonzalez, Julian Rooney, Ruben Terrones, and Guadalupe Sotelo. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 29, 2006 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, Chapel of Remembrance with a recitation of a rosary at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 30, 2006 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
