Eleodoro "Lolo"
Rosales Chavez
Jul 3, 1950 — Apr 15, 2024
Eleodoro "Lolo" Rosales, was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He left us all too soon on April 15, 2024, in San Antonio, TX at the age of 73.
Lolo was born in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico on July 3, 1950, to his parents Refugio Rosales and Consuelo Chavez. He completed elementary education but accomplished so much more. He believed that you should not be afraid of life and never give up. "No le tengas miedo a la vida. İEchale ganas!" He was a self-taught man, always reading, observing, and learning. He held long careers in both the oil field industry and railroad industry as an engineer, which took him all around the world. He traveled all over the U.S., Canada, Mexico, South America, and Asia making it as far east as Japan and as far south as Chile.
Despite his accomplishments and success, nothing made him prouder than his family. He was a support system for many and left an impact on us all. His happiest moments in his life were the moments when he was surrounded by family, especially his grandchildren. These moments strengthened him to the end. He is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Maria Rosales, his children Anastacio Mendez, Randy Rosales, and Yvonne Rodriguez; brothers and sisters Arnulfo Barba, Rosa Elia Borjon, and Dolores Arteaga. His treasures are his grandchildren Karyme Rosales, Randy Adan Rosales, Yuridia Rodriguez, Adamari Rodriguez, and Mireya Rodriguez.
The visitation will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM; recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Gentlemen with the Honor of Pallbearers are Juan Rodriguez, Juan Mendez, Luis Garcia, Luis Borjon, Gabriel Soto and Abner Arteaga.
