Elena Luna Saenz, age 85, entered into rest on Monday, August 15, 2016 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on September 13, 1930 in Del Rio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Eduardo P. Saenz, Sr. Parents Jose Luna and Beatriz Arellano. Sons, Eduardo P. Saenz, Jr., Juan Roberto Saenz, Sister Dora Castillo. Grandchild, Rene Saenz Trejo. Left to cherish her memory are her children; Ricardo Saenz, Joaquin Saenz, Edna Saenz, Elsa Saenz Martinez, Rachel Saenz Trejo and husband Robert, Patricia Saenz Chapa, Graciela Saenz Piehl and husband Andy. Brother, David Arellano, Sisters Lupe Partida and husband Willie and Consuelo Martinez. Grandchildren; Carlos Flores, Jr., Melanie Purdy, Lynda Flores, Angel Martinez, Jr., Marie Yvonne Ramos, Stephanie Nicole Garza, Robert G. Trejo, Jr., Jennifer Lynn Cortinas, Andrew James Piehl, Jr., Bruce and Milli Chapa, Shelby R. Weist, Jimmy Edward Saenz, Laurie Lynn Saenz Guerrero and Hector Lee Saenz. 28- Great-grandchildren and 14- great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016, 12:00PM, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
