Elena G. Hernandez, age 92, entered into rest on Thursday, October 6, 2016 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on September 25, 1924 in El Roy, Texas. She was preceded by her parents Nicacio and Francisca V. Garcia, Husband Elias A. Hernandez and brother Francisco Garcia, also Sons-in-laws, Hector Moreno, Pedro Navarrette and Mario Burgos. Left to cherish her memory are her Sons, Jesus Manuel Hernandez, Guadalupe Hernandez and wife Rosa A, Juan Antonio Hernandez and Elias Hernandez, Jr, Daughters, Isabel Navarrette, Hermila Burgos, Nicolasa Barrera and husband Roberto B. and Maria del Carmen Guerrero and husband Manuel. Brother, Luis V. Garcia and 18-Grandchildren and 23-Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 10, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Recitation of the holy Rosary at 7:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 10:00AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be, Jesus M. Hernandez, Guadalupe Hernandez, Juan A. Hernandez, Elias Hernandez Jr, Rafael Moreno and Dulse Y. Rodriguez. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Friends of Hospice, P. O.
