Edna Jane Blanks, age 74, entered into rest on Saturday, September 17, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on January 3, 1948, in La Marque, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents Belve Walker and Jane Irene Holiday; her siblings Curtis Walker Gilbert, Jesse Walker, Robert Walker, and Nina Jean Owens.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Ronald Blanks (Connie), Jerrell Blanks, and Kim Fitzgerald (Bill); her siblings Benny Walker, Jr., Linda Frances Walker, Teresa Faye Walker, Cynthia Ann Sanford, and John Ed Walker.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022, at 11:00 AM at the Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church at 920 N. Main St.

Gentlemen with the Honor of Pallbearers are Jeffery Blanks, Robert Owens, Jerrell Blanks, Quinn Blanks, Jayden Blanks, and Wayne Benson; Honorary pallbearers are the Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church Mission sisters, Ushers and the Deacon Ministry.

Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery.
