Edelmira Reyes Cardenas, age 89, entered into rest on Thursday, November 20, 2025 in Schertz, Texas. She was born on May 28, 1936 in Del Rio, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her father Juan Reyes and her mother, Matilde Luna; daughter, Leticia Cardenas Jimenez; granddaughter, Angeline Cardenas.

She is survived by her daughter Adelaida Cardenas; her sons, Jaime Cardenas, Jose Cardenas, Rogelio Cardenas and Oscar Cardenas; grandchildren, Edelmira Ybarra and Jacqueline Jimenez and KaeLynne Ybarra; and 9 great grandchildren.

The visitation will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.

The visitation will continue on Monday, December 1, 2025 from 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, followed by the mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 510 Wernett St. , Del Rio, Texas.

The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 HWY 90 East, in Del Rio, Texas.
