Obituary

Dr. Roger G. Isaacs, of Del Rio TX , entered into eternal rest on July 24th, 2025, at Methodist Metropolitan Hospital in San Antonio TX, at the age of 66. He was born on October 2, 1958, In Richmond KY to late Elmer Isaacs & Alma Florine Witt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers Bailey Isaacs & Ricky Isaacs as well as one sister Faye Lamb.

Roger is survived by his Life Partner and Spouse, Kenneth E. Ceasar of Del Rio TX. His son's Nathan Isaacs of Clarksburg WV, James Ceasar-Isaacs of San Antonio TX, Kenneth Ceasar Isaacs and Elvin Ceasar Isaacs of Del Rio TX, and two daughters Anne Barber of Farmington MO and Aaran Ceasar of Philadelphia Pa. He is also survived by two sisters Anne Duncan and Darlene Roark of Richmond Ky.

Roger Spent 8 years serving in the United States Air Force as a Nutrition Technician. He received his Baccalaureate Degree in Nutrition from Eastern Kentucky University. He continued his studies with a Master's degree in Adult Education from Spalding University. He completed his education with a Doctoral Degree in Hospital Administration from Capella University. Roger had numerous hobbies and things that brightened his day. Including cooking for the people he loved and helping others when in need. Roger also was an avid quilter and loved making quilts after learning from a young age. Roger also enjoyed canning vegetables from his garden. Roger was one who would ask others in need and then help find a way to provide or assist them. He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Del Rio TX, where he enjoyed singing in the choir. Throughout his life many have said that he had the "Voice of an Angel".

Roger left behind not only a memory for those who knew him, but a Legacy for those who knew him best.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas
