Dora Elia Maltos Perez, age 82, entered into rest on Monday March 25, 2024, in De Rio, Texas. She was born on June 23, 1941 in Del Rio, Texas to Luis and Ester Maltos.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Jose Perez, Jr. and her sister: Elida Maltos Cantu.

Dora, worked for Leach Farm Inc. out of Berlin Wisconsin for 65 years, as a labor, then became a crew leader/supervisor, which she enjoyed very much. In the 82 years that Dora lived she was so many things to people. She was a responsible and hard-working woman, a loving dedicated wife and mother. A wonderful daughter, sister, the greatest aunt and the greatest grandmother ever. She had an immense love for all her family and friends, she was full of love, kindness, warmth heart and humor. She was loved by so many people and will be remembered as the beautiful heart of gold.

She is survived by her husband Jose G. Perez; son, Angel Perez and wife, Edna Perez of Del Rio, Texas; grandchildren: Luis Angel Perez, Adriel Angel Perez, Leenavia De Hoyos, Justin Wyatt Falcon and Gloria Dariela Falcon; great-grandchildren, Davian Lee De Hoyos, Azaiah Israel De Hoyos and Isabella Nicole Cobos; sisters, Estela Maltos Benavidez, Norma Maltos Escalante; brothers, Jose Luis Maltos, Gusmaro Maltos and numerous of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM; prayer service at 6:30 PM at sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
