Dolores C."Lola" Pena, age 91, entered into rest on Friday, February 21, 2025 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on December 21, 1933.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Andres and Amelia Diaz Castano, Sons; Dionicio (Nicho) Pena, Jr. and Mario Pena. Daughters; Gloria Talamantez and Dolores "Loly" Pena. Sister; Maria Del Refugio "Cuca" Gutierrez, and brother; Andres "Gogoy" Castano.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter; Rosa Irene Ortiz (Macario), grandchildren; Mack Ortiz (Rebecca), Selina De Luna from Del Rio, and Rebecca Guerra (Rick) from San Angelo. Great grandchildren; Christopher Talamantez and Victoria De Luna from San Angelo, Jacqueline Mackenzie and Jacob Mack Ortiz from Del Rio, George and Ricardo Napoles from San Angelo and Daniel Guerra from San Angelo. Nephew; Ruben Gutierrez, Jr. (Carmen) from Del Rio. Adoptive sister; Natividad "Nati" Garcia (Pepe) from San Angelo, son-in-law; Eddie Talamantez from Del Rio and daughter-in-law Corina Pena from San Angelo.

Gentleman with the honor of pallbearers are her grandchildren and great grandchildren; Mack Ortiz, Christopher Talamantez, Jacob Mack Ortiz, George Napoles, Ricardo Napoles, and Daniel Guerra; Honorary pallbearers are "Mac" Ortiz, Eddie Talamantez, Rick Guerra, Ruben Gutierrez, Jr., Ruben James Gutierrez, and Tony De Luna.

Visitation will be held from 8:00 AM - 10:30 AM on March 1, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home; Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
