Darrell W. Breckenridge February 24, 1944 July 25, 2013 Darrell W. Breckenridge age 69, entered into rest on July 25, 2013 in Del Rio, Texas. He was born February 24, 1944 in Hickory Ridge, AK and raised in Lindsay, California. He is preceded in death by his parents Eugene Sanford and Edith (Goforth) Breckenridge son Timothy Wayne Breckenridge, daughters Tammy Lynne Breckenridge and Tara Suzette Breckenridge. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 50 years Betty Breckenridge, sons Todd A. Breckenridge and Bradley S. Breckenridge, daughter Tobi M. (Breckenridge) Duckworth, sisters Charlotte M. Haley and Ella Sue Tilley. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Darrell had a Bachelor"�s degree in Home Health Care Management and a Master"�s degree in Business Management. Darrell was an active member of the L.D.S. Church all of his adult life and volunteered with the American Red Cross and the Boy Scouts of America. Darrell honorably served his country for 20 years in the United States Air Force and after retiring from the Air Force he began his health care career and served as administrator for the former Retama Manor Nursing Home for 20 years. He worked 5 years with the S.F.D.R.C.I.S.D. and five years with My Home Care. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2013 6:00pm to 9:00pm family will be receiving friends and relatives from 8:00pm to 9:00pm, Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral service Friday, August 2, 2013 10:00am, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 1315 Kings Way. Entombment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
