Consuelo M. Garcia, age 95, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, June 8, 2026.

Born on January 17, 1931, Consuelo lived a long and meaningful life devoted to her family and loved ones. She was known for her strength, kindness, and unwavering love for those around her. Her presence brought comfort and joy to many, and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

Consuelo was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Tranquilino and Tomasa Garcia, as well as five brothers and two sisters, and long-life companion Jaime Gaucin

She is survived by her loving daughters, Glicelda (Larry) Rodriquez and Gracie (Joe) Faz. She is also survived by her sisters, Leonarda Saucedo and Tomasa Picos; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who will forever treasure her memory and the time they shared with her.

Consuelo's legacy lives on through the generations of family she nurtured and loved. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her warmth, resilience, and the love she gave so freely throughout her life.

May she rest in eternal peace.

The visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM  at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave., Del Rio, Texas.

The visitation will continue on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, followed by a Graveside service at 10:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.
