Conchita M. Fuentez, age 79, entered into rest on Thursday, November 9, 2023, in Eagle Pass, Texas. She was born on August 24, 1944, in Alpine, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents Victor and Catalina Melgoza, her brothers Joel Melgoza and Epifanio Melgoza.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Mr. Celestino Fuentez, Jr.; her children Oscar Fuentez (Maria), Rudy Fuentez, Dina Ramirez (Raul), Azucena "Suzie" Perez (Rene), Ruben Fuentez (Sandra); grandchildren Oscar Fuentez, Jr. (OJ), Tino Fuentez, Miguel Ramirez, Lucas Ramirez, Alyssa Perez, Rene Perez, Selena Perez, Mireya Fuentez, Joaquin Fuentez; great-grandchildren Felicity Fuentez, Ryan Fuentez, and Ohemi Jolene Fuentez; her brother Ruben Melgoza and Victor Melgoza Jr.; her sister Rosie Flores, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Conchita was married to Mr. Celestino Fuentez, Jr. for 59 years, a mother to 5 children, a grandmother to 9 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to 3 great-grandchildren. Conchita was a loving wife and a loving and dedicated stay at home mom and grandmother who loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The visitation will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Living Stone Worship Center at 190 Western Dr.

Pallbearers are San Juana Pina, Johnny Ramirez, Alyssa Perez, Rene Perez, Oscar (OJ) Fuentez, and Tino Fuentez; honorary pallbearers are Miguel Ramirez and Efrain Vizcaino.

The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
