Our beloved mother, Concepcion E. Gutierrez, a resident of Brackettville, gained her wings on March 21, 2025, surrounded by her family, filled with love and prayers. She is preceded in death by her father, Paulino; her mother, Leonor M. Encinas; her husband, Francisco Gutierrez Sr.; her son, Felix Alonso Gutierrez; her daughter, Maria de los Angeles Gutierrez, her brothers; Pedro and Jose Encinas; her sisters, Maria de los Santos Encinas and Dolores Nolasco; her granddaughter, Michelle L. Gomez; and her grandson, Jesus Gutierrez.

She is survived by her daughters, Sylvia Gutierrez, Diana L. Gutierrez, and Elida Lugo of Brackettville, as well as her son, Francisco Gutierrez Jr. (Veronica) of Hondo, TX. Her surviving sisters are Felicitas Rodriguez, Maria Ester Guerra, Diamantina Encinas, and Irma (Samuel) Lira. Her grandchildren include Raymond Gomez Jr., David Rene Gomez, Claudia Lugo, Alejandro Lugo, Roxane Woodson, Andres, and Eduardo Gutierrez. Great-grandchildren are Michaela Gomez, Dillon Gomez, Bryson Woodson, Jaxson Gomez, and Logan Woodson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brackettville Sunset Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church at 11:00 am in Brackettville, TX.

Interment will follow at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery.
