Cipriano M. Sarzoza, age 95, entered Eternal Rest on June 25, 2019 in San Marcos, Texas. He was born on September 26, 1923 in Del Rio, Texas. Cipriano was preceded in death by his wife Bertha, parents Juan and Maria Sarzoza, brothers Joseph M. Sarzoza, Isidro M. Sarzoza and sister Guadalupe Castellano. Cipriano proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant and crew chief on B-17 bombers. He loved his children and was extremely proud of his grandchildren. His hobbies included watching football, movies, and reading. He especially liked attending family gatherings and dinners. In his earlier years, he stayed active by walking and riding his bicycle. He enjoyed the company of his long time pet cat, Ginger. He was a man of faith, and thanked the Lord daily for all the blessings he received. Left to cherish his memory are his son John Sarzoza (Alicia), his daughter Sylvia Palmer (Lee), and his daughter Sandra Bornmann. He is also survived by three grandchildren; Liana Bellamy (William), Kenney Bornmann (Angie), Matthew Bornmann and one great-grandson, Gabriel Bornmann. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 1, 2019 at 1:00 PM at San Felipe Cemetery. Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Army and the American Legion Post #595.
