Charles Gaytan, age 70, of New Braunfels, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2026. He was born on September 12, 1955, in New Braunfels to Santiago and Petra Gaytan.

Charles was a talented carpenter who took great pride in his work and craftsmanship throughout his life. He was known for his hardworking spirit, kind heart, and the love he shared with those around him. Charles was very much loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his sons, Justin Gaytan and Santiago Gaytan; and by his ten cherished grandchildren.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Santiago and Petra Gaytan; his brothers; and many dear friends.
