Celestino Fuentez, Jr, age 82, entered into rest on Sunday, January 28, 2024, in Eagle Pass, Texas. He was born on May 11, 1941, in Terlingua, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Conchita M. Fuentez; mother and father Celestino & Rosario A. Fuentez; brothers Samuel, Tomas and Ramon Fuentez.
He is survived by his children Oscar Fuentez (Maria), Rudy Fuentez, Dina Ramirez (Raul), Azucena "Suzie" Perez (Rene), Ruben Fuentez (Sandra); grandchildren Oscar Fuentez, Jr. (OJ), Tino Fuentez, Randy Rodriguez (Tina), Renee Mireles (Sam), Kamryn Ramirez, Raul R. Ramirez IV, Diego Ramirez, Miguel Ramirez, Lucas Ramirez, Alyssa Perez (Renee), Rene Perez (Ashley), Selena Perez, Mireya Fuentez, Joaquin Fuentez; great-grandchildren Felicity Fuentez, Ryan Fuentez, Ohemi Jolene Fuentez, Caleb Rodriguez, Cadence Rodriguez, Sergie Mireles, Savian Mireles, and Aleksa Mireles; his sister Francis Marquez, brothers Adan Fuentez and Abel A. Fuentez and numerous nieces and nephews.
Celestino was married to Mrs. Conchita M. Fuentez for 59 years, a father to 5 children, a grandfather to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Celestino was a hardworking man that worked for Southern Pacific Railroad as a welder. He was a great cook known for his menudo and famous "'red stuff" asado. An avid pool shark at the local Del Rio bars and master welder making awesome BBQ pits.

The visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Pallbearers are Alyssa Perez, Rene Perez, Oscar (OJ) Fuentez, Tino Fuentez, Efrain Vizcaino, and Michael Fuentez.
The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery
