Catherine "Katy" Golden, entered into rest on April 10, 2007 in Waco, Texas while visiting family. Katy is survived by her four daughters and sons-in-law, Freda and Bill Reynolds, Wichita, KS; Carol and Brad Layton, Quinlan, TX; Maryalice and Bill Carroll Mesa, AZ; and Anita and Loren Rogers, Stephenville,TX. Katy has nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Katy was born on March 6, 1923 in Newton, KS. She and husband Fred made Del Rio their home in 1964. Katy retired from Del Rio ISD after 23 years. Visitation will be held Thursday evening April 12, 2007 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Del Rio Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be on Friday, April 13, 2007 at 1:00pm at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery
