Catalina Rivera, age 80, entered into rest Saturday, August 25, 2018 in Adrian Michigan. She was born on March 22, 1938 in Vera Cruz, Mexico to Elias Rivera and Leonarda Hernandez Rivera. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Jorge Cortez. Left to cherish her memory are sons; Alejandro Cortez, Edgar Cortez, daughters; Eva Martinez, Gregoria Cortez, brothers; David Rivera, Evaristo Rivera, sister; Lydia Rivera. As well as several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Chapel with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Chapel. Interment to follow at Santo Tomas Cemetery in Seguin.
