Carmen R. Zepeda, age 92, entered into rest August 27, 2009, in Del Rio, Texas. She was born January 17, 1917 in Cristales, Mexico. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ricardo Zepeda. Parents, Leonardo and Maria Reyna. . Left to cherish her memory are her children, Arturo and wife Shirley Zepeda of Arlington, Texas, Maria Elvira Castillo of Del Rio, Ms. Annabelia Z. Esquivel of Del Rio, Sonny and wife Minerva of Del Rio, Romelia Z. Cervantes and husband Antonio of Houston, Isaida Z. Garza and husband Guadalupe of Del Rio, Ricardo and wife Maria Zepeda of Ft. Worth, Elia Avalos and husband Roy of California, Esmeralda Z. Camacho and husband Ricardo, Aida Z. Sifuentes of Del Rio. Sister, Yolanda Ortiz and husband Ricardo of Corpus Christi. 41 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews. Gentlemen left with the honor of pallbearers: Sergio Silva Jr., Noe Valdez, Fernando Fernandez Jr., Oscar Zepeda, Victor Zepeda and Danny Zepeda. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 30, 2009, 3:00pm-9:00pm, Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 31, 2009, 10:00am, St Joseph Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
