Carmen V. Rodriguez, age 90, entered into rest on April 29, 2017 in Brackettville, Texas. She was born on November 10, 1926 in Piedras Negras, Coahulia, Mexico . She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years Jacinto Rodriguez; daughter Juanita Hernandez; son Rodrigo Hernandez parents Maximo and Genoveva Valdez Vara; grandson Eric Mendoza. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Jose V. Hernandez III and wife Virginia, Jose Carlos Hernandez and grandson John A. Hernandez; daughters Margarita H. Talamantes and husband Eleazar, Epifania Thompson and husband Greg, Mary Padilla and husband Oscar Lopez Padilla and Patricia Hernandez; Also, she is survived by 10 grandchildren Aaron wife Lucy Hernandez, Jessica Hernandez, Patrick Mendoza, Johnny Lopez, Carlos Lopez and 2 great-grandchildren Jazmien Hernandez, Alejandro Hernandez. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Brackettville Sunset Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 5, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.
