Carmen C. Hernandez age 90, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 2, 2014 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born March 21, 1924 in Delicias, Chih., MX. She was preceded in death by her husband Antonio R. Hernandez, Daughter Delia H. Galvan, Parents Jose and Anna Maria Chavarria. Left to cherish her memory are her Sons Juan Antonio Hernandez and wife Patricia, Jesus A. Hernandez and wife Norma, Jose Hernandez and Matilde. Daughters Ester Borrego, Irma Frias and husband Simon, Carmen Esquivel and husband Manuel, Dora Ramirez and husband Cesar, Alma Perez and husband Eloy, Gracie Hernandez. Son in-law Ramon Galvan, Sister in-law Consuelo Solis. Also survived by 37 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Prayer service 7:00 PM. Chapel service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 10:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
