Carmelo Aguirre July 15, 1933 January 21, 2013 Carmelo Aguirre age 79, surrounded by his family entered into rest on January 21, 2013 in Del Rio, Texas. He was born July 15, 1933 in Durango, Mexico. Preceded in death by his Parents Antonio and Maria Guadalupe Blanco. Carmelo was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a hardworking man who dedicated his life to his family and his art of carpentry. He took pleasure in horseback riding, fishing and spending time with all his grandchildren. He was a three time cancer survivor and was the strongest man we"�ve ever know. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Maria Esther Aguirre, Sons Luis Gerardo Aguirre, Jose Antonio Aguirre and wife Alicia. Daughters Araceli Aguirre and Mayela Gonzalez. Grandchildren Adam Jose Aguirre, Jacquelyn Amanda Aguirre, Luis Gerardo Aguirre Jr. and wife Flor, Joseph Anthony Aguirre and wife Jackie, Vanessa Aguirre, Martha Laura Alvarez and husband Joey, Edith Gonzalez and Jesus Alejandro Gonzalez. Great-grandchildren Mireya, Natalie and Adriana Aguirre. Sisters Cornelia Aguirre, Elida Guerra and husband Trinidad. Visitation will be held Tuesday January 22, 2013 3:00pm to 9:00pm, Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary 7:00pm. Cremation to follow.
