Carlos Joel Robles, better known as 'Charlie' to many close friends and family, was a proud and loving husband, father and dedicated member of the community. Carlos was born May 26, 1960, in Del Rio, Texas to Eugenia and Genovevo Robles. His life was marked by joy, leadership and a deep commitment to those around him. On the morning of April 25, 2026, Carlos's journey on this earth came to an end at the age of 65.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Veronica Robles: his children, CJ, Josue, Roberto, Karla and Adele and his siblings, Graciela, Maggie, Beatriz, Bertie and Tomas and grandson Maxwell.

Charlie was a lifelong resident of Del Rio and familiar face to many. He worked at Del Rio National Bank for 16 years before continuing his career at Brown Automotive Center for 25 years. Through his work and daily interactions, he built relationships and earned the respect of his colleagues and community members alike.

Beyond his career, Charlie was a deeply involved in his community. He proudly served as president of the Little League Baseball organization, dedicated member and past president of the San Felipe Lions Club and was also involved with the United Civic Organization (UCO).

A true Texan at heart, Charlie was an avid sports fan who passionately supported the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs. Whether it was professional, collegiate, or local sports, he was always cheering on his teams. More importantly, he was a constant supporter of his children, never missing an opportunity to encourage and stand by them in all they pursued.

Charlie cherished time with his family and found joy in life's simple moments. He loved hunting, fishing, running, and relaxing on his front porch, admiring nature while listening to music. He especially enjoyed being outdoors-grilling for his family and tending to his garden, where he grew fresh vegetables.

The visitation will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.

The visitation will continue on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home; followed by a mass of christian burial at 10:00 AM, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 510 Wernett St., Del Rio, Texas.

The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.
