Brandon Robert Vaughn, age 17, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017. Brandon was born March 15, 2000 in San Marcos to Elizabeth Hammel Vaughn and Mitchell Wayne Vaughn II. Brandon was a senior at Canyon High School and would have graduated in 2018. He was a kind and compassionate young man, and it was a joy to be with him because of his witty sense of humor and loving nature. He enjoyed playing video games and making videos he posted online. Brandon was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother Elizabeth Vaughn; grandparents Patricia Pistor, Lori and Steve Erickson and Mitch Vaughn; uncle and aunt Patrick and Mandy Pistor; aunt Meghan Vaughn; cousins Annabelle Pistor and Warren Pistor, Hunter Motloc and Aaliyah Motloc; along with many friends. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, December 16, 2017 beginning at 1 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home Chapel in New Braunfels.
