Bettye Earnestine Vaughan, age 80, entered into rest January 27, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on January 23, 1935 in Kansas City, Kansas. She has reunited with her Beloved husband Francis so they could continue their loving marriage through eternity. Their love for each other was one that could not be measured by time. She is preceded in death by her parents Otis and Leola Balthrope and great-granddaughter June Pearl Gurley.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Frankie Vaughan and wife B'Ann, Glen Vaughan and wife Sharon. Daughter, Jolene Sellers and husband Buck. Grandchildren; Kimberly Vaughan and husband Brian McDonald, Chelsea Gurley and husband Jake, Kenneth Vaughan and Annick Ortiz, Shelby Vaughan, Cheyanne Sellers, Colton Sellers, Colby Sellers. Great-granddaughter Addyson Vaughan and great-grandson Hayden Sellers. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Bettye loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren dearly. She attended all of their activities from soccer, basketball, t-ball, 4-h and graduations and any activities that came around. She was very proud of each and every one of them. She was always there to help anyone who needed her. She will be greatly missed by her family and extended families.
She was well known for her kindness and generosity to all that crossed her path at Gidibufr where she made many life-long friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015, from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.
Graveside Service will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015, 11:00am, Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
