Betty Lee Kenworthy, age 80, left this life holding the hands of her loved ones at the Val Verde Regional Hospital in Del Rio, Texas. She went to be with our Lord on Thursday, May 24, 2018. She was born April 23, 1938 in Kenedy, Texas. She now holds the hands of loved ones who passed before her. Beloved husband, Richard W. "Buddy" Kenworthy, her parents, Clifford L. and Jessie L. Carroll, brother, Robert L. "Butch" Carroll, grandson, Douglas Leon Whaley, and many other family members and friends. She is survived by her 8 children, Kenneth N. Lee, Jr., Daymond L. Lee, Twila R. Blackstock, Dorothy D. Keenum, Danetta D. Whaley, James R. Case, Darrell C. Lee, and Oscar R. Auzza, Jr., her wonderful daughter in laws, grand kids and great grand kids, who love and cherish her. God really blessed our family. There are those who never knew their mothers and those that felt their mothers did not love them. We had our mother for many years and we knew she loved us. Her body is gone, but her love for us shines down on us as bright as the stars in the heavens. She will always be with us in our thoughts and one day we too shall hold her hands again. A Graveside service will be held Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 10:00am, Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park Cemetery in New Braunfels, Texas.
