Bertha L. Tijerina, age 93, entered into rest on Thursday, July 27, 2017 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on September 8, 1923 in Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents Geronimo and Matilde Tijerina; brothers Jesus Tijerina and Alfonso Tijerina; sisters Englantina Barrera, Criselda T. Garcia and Maria Tijerina. Left to cherish her memory is her sister Olivia Tijerina and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Felipe Cemetery.
