Berta A. Sotelo, age 82, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on December 4, 1943 in Del Rio, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gregorio and Lilia Sotelo; her sister, Cecilia Sotelo; brother, Fernando Sotelo, her sisters-in-law, Edelmira "Miri" Sotelo, and Rosalva Sotelo; and her brother-in-law, Carlos Sotomayor.

Left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Lupe Sotelo (Sonya), Mario Sotelo (Mary), Claudio Sotelo, Roberto Sotelo, and Gregorio Sotelo Jr.; and her sister, Gloria Sotomayor, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a recitation of the holy rosary at 6:30 PM, at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave., Del Rio, Texas.

Visitation will continue on Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave., Del Rio, Texas,  followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church,  307 E. Losoya St., Del Rio, Texas.

The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.

Gentlemen with the honor of serving as pallbearers are Henry Sotelo, Henry Sotelo Jr., Lupe Sotelo, Bobby Sotelo, Mario Sotelo Jr., and Claudio Sotelo Jr.
