Aurora M. Rivera was born July 30, 1934 and went to be with our Lord on August 20, 2023, after a five year battle with Alzheimers, she was 89 years old. Aurora was a beloved daugther of God, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother whose love for her family ran deep. She was a devoted Catholic who trusted God with all her heart. Aurora was an active memeber of St. Joseph Catholic Church for 60 years. Her faith was unmatched and she lived life embodying Christ and His love. Aurora loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and all of her friends. Aurora blessed our family with 89 beautiful years and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Aurora was preceded in death by her husband of five years Ruben R. Rivera. Her parents Rosendo Martinez, Sr. and Maria Alcala Martinez, her siblings, Serapio A. Martinez, Luis A. Martinez, Rosendo A. Martinez, Homero A. Martinez, Maria De Jesus A. Martinez.

Left to cherish her memories are her children Cynthia Lively (Wade), Mary "Kakie" McKinny (John) and Michael Rivera (Lauren). Her brother and sister Eliodoro Martinez and Eloisa Garcia. Aslo, her five wonderful grandchildren Haley Rivera, Jake Rivera, Ryan Rivera, Mikayla Lively and William Lively, as well as many nieces and nephews.
