Augustin Huerta Rodriguez (1951-2024)

Augustin passed away on July 24, 2024 at the age of 72 in Del Rio, TX.

Born on a ranch in Palmira, Coahuila, he was loved by and loved all his brothers and sisters dearly; Miguel, Kika, Juana, Javier and Armandina. His doting, loving parents were Marcos and Nemencia Huerta. Family was everything to him and he cherished each of them.

Augustin was a true cowboy, spending most of his life working on ranches, training horses, and doing all that cowboy work entails.

Eventually Augustin sought a new adventure in Louisiana, and it came with a "bonus" family with bonus parents, Jerry and Paul Snell and bonus brothers, Anthony and Mike Snell. He lived and worked with them for years and they became like his family.

While in Louisiana, he met and married Belinda Goleman. Together they had three children Lynn(Tessia) Goleman of Indiana, Lee Ann(Nick) Gray of Florida and Crystal(Gus) Torrino of Florida and a stepson Rodney(Michelle) Loftin of Louisiana.

His kids were his life, that is until his grandkids came along. He has twelve 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He loved them dearly and couldn't wait to see them and visit with them.

He will be deeply missed by his many nephews, nieces and friends.
