In Loving Memory of

Antonio B. Tristan

November 30, 1940 – July 31, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Antonio B. Tristan, who entered eternal rest on July 31, 2026, at the age of 85, surrounded by the love of his family in the comfort of his home.

Born on November 30, 1940, Antonio was a lifelong resident of New Braunfels, Texas, where he built a life rooted in hard work, faith, family, and quiet strength. He was known for his unwavering work ethic and his ability to provide for those he loved. He never sought recognition, but his actions spoke louder than words.

Antonio had a remarkable green thumb and found joy tending and caring for his plants. He also had a deep love for music and dancing. Nothing brought a smile to his face quite like good music and playing his accordion. He cherished the moments spent dancing with his wife creating memories that will live on in our families’ hearts forever.

To those who knew him best, Antonio was lovingly stern—a man of wisdom, integrity, and quiet presence. He wasn't one to speak often, but when he did, his words carried meaning. His guidance, life lessons, and steadfast love shaped generations of his family, and his legacy will continue to live on through them.

Antonio was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Gilberto Tristan and Librada Tristan; his cherished wife, Josephina Tristan; his son, Martin Tristan; his sister, Alborada T Rodriguez; and many other loved ones who welcomed him into eternal peace.

He is lovingly survived by his children, Emma Alejos, Lupe Esquivel, Eileen Martinez, Rachel Milewski, Angelica Tristan, and Fabian Tristan, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who will forever cherish his love, wisdom, and example.

Although our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort knowing he has been reunited with the love of his life and those who went before him. His memory will continue to bloom in the gardens he planted, the stories he shared, and the family he loved so deeply.
