Anneliese 'Anne' Parker, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and cherished matriarch of her family, joined our Lord in Heaven on May 26, 2026 at the age of 81.

Anne was born on July 13, 1944, in Augsburg, Germany to Rubert and Elizabeth Färber. She spent her childhood in the Pfersee neighborhood, where her parents owned a renowned restaurant and large ballroom facility. Some of her greatest joys were of the gala events and gourmet feasts held at the family business, as well as the playful adventures and pranks she shared with her cousin, Günther.

Anne and her sisters, Lydia and Gerlinde, were raised by their devoted mother, whose resilience, strength, and unwavering dedication to family became qualities Anne carried throughout her life. Inspired by her parents' legacy, Anne pursued a career in hospitality, working at two of Augsburg's finest restaurants. It was during this time she met and married the love of her life, Jerry Parker.

Anne and Jerry made Del Rio, Texas their home where they raised their three children, Frank, Rondol and Lisa. They also owned and operated two successful businesses that they started together. Anne was a devoted wife, loving mother and steadfast partner whose dedication and commitment helped build and support her thriving family and business.

Anne was full of life, she enjoyed baking, boating and fishing on Lake Amistad with her husband and family. She also volunteered her time and skills to various activities in the community including serving as an advocate for the Val Verde County CASA unit and Child Welfare Board, a member of the Winter Texans Visitor Committee, a member of Amistad Navy boating club and took pride in sharing her German ancestry, food and music to her friends.

When her children were older, Anne eagerly accepted a new working opportunity at the local Wal-Mart which led to her next career. She worked there for more than a decade and through her hard work and attention to detail advanced to Store Assistant Manager. Helping customers and meeting new people were her fondest memories.

Anne was a 'no nonsense' type of gal and wise. She taught by example the importance of family, connection, love and hard work. Our family will deeply miss her. She was our rock and our teacher. We are forever touched and blessed to love her and be loved by her. Anne was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Parker.

She is survived by her son, Frank M. Parker and wife Nelsa of Fayetteville; her daughter, Rondol E. Bradshaw and her husband Charles of San Antonio; her daughter, Lisa A. Parker of San Antonio; Grandchildren Kayla Nichole Bradshaw of San Antionio; Henry Frank and Estrella Parker of Fayetteville. Her sisters, Lydia Teppner of Seattle and Gerlinde Simon of Germany.

A graveside service and interment will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas. The funeral procession departs Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home at 9:30 AM.
