Ann Rosemarie Bell entered into rest April 13, 2025 at the age of 72 in Del Rio, Tx. She was born April 21, 1952 in Burlington, WA. She graduated from Port Angeles High School in Port Angeles, Wa. In 1971. Shortly thereafter she joined the U.S. Army, serving until 1972. She was stationed at Biggs Army Airfield near El Paso, Tx. There is where she met the love of her life, Lester Bell, after a whirlwind romance the two were married at the end of 1972. They were married for 53 years.
Many locally may recognize her from Ann's 21 years of service serving as a Cashier at Walmart here and in San Antonio, Tx. Retiring in March of 2021.
In 1975 Jehovah's Witnesses called at her door and when she heard the Bibles's promise in Isaiah 33:24 "no resident will say I am sick" and the Bibles promise in Revelation 21:4 "…death will be no more, neither will mourning nor…pain be anymore…", she knew she wanted to learn more about these promises, since she has experience much illness in her family. She accepted a Bible study and in 1976 she was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, she loved her God Jehovah and served him faithfully for 48 years.
Ann loved people and she enjoyed teaching the truths from the Bible. She also enjoyed abstract drawing as a hobby. She was an avid reader, whose favorite author was James Herriott. She loved animal art prints, featuring all types of cats- tigers, jaguars, lions ect. When technology was upon us, she became an expert at it.
