Angel Ortiz, 31, passed away in Del Rio, Texas on March 13, 2024. Angel was best known for his smile and laughter. He loved spending time with family and friends and being the life of the party. Angel was a father, husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and a friend to many, he will be forever missed.

He is proceeded in death by his grandparents; Carmen and Benito Sanchez and Concepcion and Gregoria Oritz along with many cherished extended family members. He is survived by his wife Monica C. Ortiz and his children Alissa, Emma, baby Angel, and Nina, his parents; Sylvia and Ignacio Ortiz, brothers; Robert, Reynaldo, Juan, Orlando, Concepcion, and Jesus, sisters; Sylvia, Anilou, Sonia, Maribel and Christina. Also survived and loved by 45 nieces and nephews, as well as 41 great nieces and nephews, and many extended family members.

Viewing will be held on Thursday March 21, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.

Chapel service will be held on Friday March 22, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Sunset Memorial oaks Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
