Carmen M. Gallegos, age 78, entered into rest on Thursday, April 25, 2019 in Uvalde, Texas. She was born on April 16, 1941, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tomas and Antonia Medina; sister, Gudelia Cervantez. Survivors include her husband, Gerardo E. Gallegos; sons, Luis Anthony Terrazas and wife Alisa of Freemont, CA, and Arturo Terrazas and wife Trish of Helotes, TX; siblings, Rene Flores, Candelaria F. Gonzalez, and Jose Luis Medina; grandchildren, Loren Cook, Nathan Terrazas, Danielle Gutierrez, Alexandra Niedzielski, Brandon Gagliardi, and Emily Terrazas; and great-grandchilden, Baylyn Cook, Berlyn Cook, Noah Gutierrez, and Ava Gutierrez. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 28, 2019, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Brackettville Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at the Veteran's Cemetery in Brackettville, Texas.
