Anabelia Castillo
Lopez
Oct 23, 1963 — Jul 27, 2024
It is with the most heartfelt sorrow that Anabelia Castillo Lopez, age 60, entered into rest after her battle with cancer on Saturday, July 27, 2024, in the presence of those she loved dearly. She was born on October 23, 1963, in Acuna, Mexico, and lived the majority of her life in Del Rio, Texas.
Ana was married for 39 years to her high school sweetheart, Juan Lopez. Their life together was marked by joint efforts to build a close and loyal family as well as several companies providing for the Del Rio community for over 30 years. She was incredibly devoted to her family and worked tirelessly to bring them happiness and support during her lifetime. Ana instilled the importance of treasuring the small joys and experiencing all life has to offer to those around her. Through her fight with cancer, she taught us to be appreciative of the time we have with those we love. She was an entrepreneur, savvy businesswoman, traveler, wife, mother, daughter, and sister that we all loved deeply.
As a devout member of Our Lady of Guadalupe, she had a beautiful spirit, unwavering strength, and a generous heart that impacted everyone around her. Ana loved the Del Rio community and believed in leaving this world better than when she came into it. Family and friends alike will miss her gentle soul. She will leave a legacy of love and genuine kindness, inspiring others to do the same.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ramiro Castillo; and grandparents, Bernardo & Trinidad Rayas Castillo, and Fritz Jakubas & Sara Ibarra.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Juan Francisco Lopez Sr.; her children, Juan Francisco Lopez Jr. (Ashley), Roberto Ricardo Lopez; her mother, Rosalinda Castillo; her siblings, Betty Castillo, Maribel Perez (Ovidio), Ramiro Castillo Jr., Diamond Camarillo (Pete), and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
"Believe. Trust the journey. Leap fearlessly."
