It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Amparo Flores, at the age of 96. She was welcomed into this world by her parents Jesus Aguirre and Basilia Chapa Aguirre. She was the youngest of 4 children; her siblings were Jose, Arturo and Nancy Aguirre. At 18, she met and later married Juan Flores, the love of her life. They were blessed with 8 children: Roy (Carmen) Flores, Teresa (Robert) Charles, Cecilia (Richard) Perez, Rosalinda (Abelardo) Casillas, Juan Flores Jr. (late), Mario (Santa) Flores, Gregorio (Edna) Flores, Eduardo Flores. In addition, their families grew to 24 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Our mother has gained her angel wings and was reunited with her family that has gone before her.

Gentlemen with the honor of Pallbearers are her grandsons: Juan Fabian Casillas, Mario Daniel Gonzalez, Eddie Flores Jr., Mario Flores Jr., Gregorio Flores Jr. and Albert Alejandro Flores. Honorary Pallbearers: Robert Charles Jr., Abelardo Casillas III and John Gabriel Flores.

Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 25th from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Holy Rosary begins at 5:00 PM, followed by eulogy and memory at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 26th starting with a Holy Rosary at 11 AM, visitation until 1:30 PM; Mass to follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.

Interment to follow at San Felipe Cemetery.
