Amber Nicole Leach, born on May 3, 1984, in San Antonio, Texas, passed away surrounded by loved ones on May 23, 2024. She was the cherished daughter of Verenia Gloria and the late Jerry Gloria.

Amber was a devoted mother to her four children: Liam Thomas, 11, Abigail Paige, 11, Caden Brooks, 9, and Jackson James, 5. Her children were the light of her life, and she dedicated herself to nurturing and guiding them with unwavering love and support.

Amber's career as a teacher at Buena Vista Elementary was marked by her kindness, dedication, and passion for education. She touched the lives of countless students, inspiring them to learn and grow with her gentle encouragement and unwavering commitment.

A woman of faith, Amber persevered through every obstacle life presented with grace and strength. Her legacy of love, faith, and resilience will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Verenia Gloria; grandmother, Aminta Thurston; loving sister, Amy Rodriguez and husband, Vince Rodriguez; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Amber will be deeply missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and the many students whose lives she enriched. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM; recitation of the holy rosary at 6:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.

The Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
