Amanda R. Flores, age 78, entered into rest on Thursday, September 10, 2026, in Del Rio. She was born on September 22, 1947, in Del Rio, Texas. Amanda is preceded in death by her parents, Alberto Rodriguez and Eulalia Salazar, and brothers Alberto Rodriguez and Armando Rodriguez.

She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Ramon B. Flores; her sons, Arturo C. Ramirez Jr. and Alberto (Susana) Ramirez; Grandchildren: Roxanne Ramirez (Christian), Shyanna R. Ramirez, Edwin Ramirez, Alberto R. Ramirez Jr., Adrian Ramirez (Kayla), Adam Ramirez (Kalarissa), Vanessa Anguiano (David), Cristina Canchola and Sabrina Vigil; Great-grandchildren: Ayiii Garcia, Ayverii Garcia, Ayzadin Arredondo, Kennedy R Ramirez, Adrian R. Ramirez, Aria R. Ramirez, Eric Jasso, Kaylee Jasso, Alan Vigil, Joseph Anguiano and Olivia Anguiano.

Amanda worked with the school district for many years before retiring. She graduated from San Felipe High School and was a member of the San Felipe Exes.

Amanda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Serving as pallbearers will be Adrian Ramirez, Christian Arredondo, Fabian Ortiz, Victor Rodriguez, Mauricio Bocanegra, and Louie Faz.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave., Del Rio, Texas.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 509 W. Garza St., Del Rio, Texas.

The interment will be held at San Felipe Cemetery, Del Rio, Texas.
