Amador L. Cardenas, 72, entered into rest, Saturday, February 4, 2017, at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, TX. He was preceded in death by his Father, Martiniano R. Cardenas; Mother, Hermenegilda L. Cardenas; his Brothers, Antonio Cardenas, Agustin Cardenas; Sister, Rosa Villarreal and his beloved Granddaughter, Krystal C. Martinez. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Cecilia V. Cardenas; his son, Amador V. Cardenas, Jr., and daughters, Annette Martinez (Husband Arnulfo M. Martinez; Martina Rizzo (Husband Mark Rizzo); Valerie Cardenas, his treasured Grandchildren, Arnulfo J. Cardenas, David L. Lopez, April Cardenas, Michael Cardenas, Christopher Torres, Alex R. Bell, Jr., Ayden R. Cardenas, Great Grandchildren, Amelia M. Rios, Matthew Lopez and Sophia Rodriguez. He is also survived by his siblings and spouses Abraham Cardenas, wife, Hortencia Cardenas; Manuela Rojas, husband, Andres Rojas; Martin Cardenas, wife, Eloida Cardenas; Arturo Cardenas, wife, Elena A. Cardenas and Alfredo Cardenas and wife, Guillermina Cardenas. Visitations will be held on Tuesday, February 7 & Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM; Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM on both evenings. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
