Obituary

Alizah Starr Gonzales, unexpectedly went home to be with our Lord and savior on November 26, 2024, at the forever young age of 21. An absolute STARR was born on September 18, 2003 to Samantha Gonzales (Gomez) and David Gonzales. Her name is one of the many things she took pride in, as it meant "Joyful Star!" which was perfectly fitting because that's just what she was. Her radiant personality shined so much light on so many people who will miss her tremendously! She inspired her siblings and many others, as she made an incredible impact by serving her youth volunteer group at her chosen place of worship, Living Waters Church. Alizah may have been little, but those who were blessed to know her, know that she loved BIG! She was always passionate about her love for God, always leaning on Him throughout her life. This was especially magnified by the way she was always there for anyone in times of need, and always found a way to see the good in people and situations.Alizah was a proud Canyon High School graduate Class of 2023. She was always so expressive of her school experience and how grateful she was for each and every individual who played a positive role in her adolescence. She loved to have the most fun, and it made her happy to be able to do that while earning her education and creating unforgettable memories. She also fiercely loved and cared for numerous family pets who already miss her presence dearly.Alizah is survived by her parents; Samantha Joy Gonzales (Gomez) and David Starr Gonzales. Her great grandmas; Queta Villarreal, Geneva Rosales, Sara (Blanca) Garza and Isabel Robles. Grandpa Johnny Joe (Quate) Gomez, Great grandpa David Gonzales, Aunt and uncle Amanda and Jeremian Quintanilla, Aunt and uncle Valerie Rosales and Evan Hardeman, Aunts; Anissa Gomez, Mallory Gomez, Uncles; Noah Gomez, Joel Ramirez Jr, Siblings; Arabelle Gonzales, Samson, Alora, Azaria and Zephania and numerous great aunts and uncles, cousins who were like siblings, to name a few: Her Bestie Baby Bonnie, Quveon Jackson, Devin Rosales, Pete Joel Rosales, Jaden Moncivais, Aaliyah Quintanilla, Madison Gomez, Mya Gomez, Scarlette Gomez, Evie Ramirez, Poet and Frankie, Max Joel and Jeremiah Ramirez, whom she individually cherished very much.Alizah is preceded in death by her beloved grandmother Yvonne (Bonnie) Rosales, great grandfather Pedro (Pete) Rosales, Great grandma Francis (Kika) Gomez, and cousins Carlos (Gordo) Guerrero, and Jace Rene Gomez. Ultimately, Alizah's love for God and her family (she was a proud big sister) will be her legacy. She spent most of her days among her favorite people making memories. We will cherish those memories forever. While Alizah Is no longer earth side, she will always be with us in our hearts, and if ever you find yourself doubting that, just look up at the stars and you will find her up there, the brightest star in the sky.
