Alfonso Garcia Sorola, Jr. age 40, entered into rest on Sunday, August 24, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on March 9, 1985 in Del Rio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father Alfonso Sorola Sr.; maternal grandparents Venancio and Catarina Garcia; paternal grandparents Esteban and Petra Sorola.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Marissa Sorola, Stepson Efrain Sandoval Davila, his mother Ciria Sorola, sisters Magali (Marcos) Saucedo of Big Lake, Texas, Catalina (Bobby) Hernandez of Del Rio, Texas, brother Raul Rodriguez of Wisconsin; nephews Alejandro Guerrero and Daniel Hernandez.; niece Natalie Hernandez, and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM; recitation of the Holy Rosary 6:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.

The mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 510 Wernett St, Del Rio, Texas.

Gentlemen with the honor of pallbearers are Alejandro Guerrero, Bobby Hernandez, Antonio Saucedo, Jerry Garcia, Carlos Rodríguez, and Armando Trevino.

The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.
