Alejandro "Alex" Camacho, age 83, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022. He was born on March 27, 1939 near Beeville, Tx. He is survived by his children Alex Jr., Daniel (Danny) Camacho, and Patricia (Patty) Benavidez, his grandchildren Tomas, Gabriella, Isabella, Jacquelyn, Nicolas Camacho, Cesar (CJ) and Jacob Benavidez, great-grand children Brayden and Xavier Camacho. Alex began working for Sears & Roebuck Co., before joining the military. He then returned to work for Sears and retired after 30 years with the company. He also worked at the local Chevrolet dealership for several years. He was a member of the San Felipe Lions Club in the 80's and early 90's and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Alex had a kind heart, a great personality and will be dearly missed by all that knew him. Visitation will be held Friday, June 10, 2022, 4:00pm-7:00pm at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, June 11, 2022, 10:00am at St Joseph Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
