It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ah Kin Ling, age 68. He passed away due to an unexpected illness June 1st, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.

Born on November 4th, 1957, he was the youngest son of Tew Suan Ling and Kok Wah Too. Ah Kin lived his life with independence, hard work, and a devotion to his family. He built a long and fulfilling career as a chef and business owner. Outside of work, he loved seeing the world with friends and family. Within his community, he was well respected and loved, bringing everyone together with his cooking.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lean Chu Toh, and his four children Kevin, Jeffrey, Brandon, and Aaron.

A memorial service honoring his memory will be held at Sunset Memorial Oaks in New Braunfels on Saturday, June 13th, gathering at 10:00 AM and service beginning at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are welcome to attend and share memories of Ah Kin. Additionally, we will be having a potluck gathering at 4:30 PM after the service.
