Salvador Jimenez, Jr., age 69, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, in Del Rio, Texas. He was born on July 15, 1952. He was preceded in death by his parents Salvador Jimenez, Sr. and Amparo V. Jimenez; his brother Jose V. Jimenez and his sister Gloria Jimenez. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Maricela S. Jimenez; his children Blanca Penninger (Clifford) from Victoria, Texas, Lena Badeaux (Daniel) from Vidor, Texas, Salvador Jimenez, III from Lubbock, Texas, Karla Zepeda from Del Rio, Texas, Daniel Zepeda from Del Rio, Texas, and Daniel Jimenez from Del Rio, Texas; his siblings Cynthia and Leonel Cardenas from Del Rio, Texas, Linda Rosa and Humberto Renovato of Uvalde, Texas, Sylvia and Roberto Trevino of Del Rio, Texas, Mary Alice J. and Sergio Ramirez of Del Rio, Texas, Eddie Jimenez of Del Rio, Texas, Jesse V. Jimenez of Del Rio, Texas, and Rolando Jimenez and Martha of Del Rio, Texas. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. A chapel service will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 9:30 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Interment will follow at San Felipe Cemetery.
