Sally Sotelo, 74, of New Braunfels, Texas, was welcomed into the arms of her Savior on Wednesday, September 20, 2023.She was born on June 9, 1949, in New Braunfels, Texas, to Jose and Rufina Diaz. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.She is preceded in death by her son; Raymond Diaz, her parents; Jose and Rufina Diaz, her brothers; Pedro Diaz, Rudy Diaz, Johnny Diaz, Eddie Diaz, Danny Diaz, Richard Diaz and sister; Rosie Martinez.Sally was survived by her loving husband; Ricardo Sotelo, Sr, her children; Mark Diaz, Roger Diaz, and Ricky Sotelo, sisters; Maryann Martinez, Josie Martinez, Mary Alice Diaz, and brother; Joe Diaz.She also leaves behind her 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.Sally was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of family before her own.She loved to take care of others, as she was a caretaker for many years, and also a school bus driver for NBISD.Her hobbies were taking care of her plants and working on crossword puzzles.She was a strong woman, who loved her family dearly and cherished every moment she had with them. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 8:00pm, with a rosary at 6:00pm at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 415 S. Bus IH-35, New Braunfels, Texas.A celebration of life will be held Friday, September 29, 2023, from 3:00pm to 6:00 pm, at New Generations Fellowship, 2719 FM 725, New Braunfels, Texas.
