Maria M. Garcia, age 89, entered into rest on June 18, 2008, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born September 27, 1918 in Del Rio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Jesus A. Garcia, Parents Abraham and Josefa Monsibais. Brothers Manuel Monsibais, Jose Monsibais, Jesus Monsibais, Sisters, Anita Garcia, Cuca Costilla. Left to Cherish her memory are her children: Sons: Guadalupe Garcia and wife Rosie Garcia, Juan Garcia, Daughters: Mary and husband Richard Vann, Carmen and husband Pete Hernandez, Josie and husband Angel Duran. Brother Alfonso Monsibais. Also numerous Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren. Left with the honors for Pallbearers: Arturo Garcia, Julian Garcia, Ricky Vann, Vicente Hernandez, Arturo Garcia, Jr, Eddie Guadarrama, Jr. Visitation will be held Friday, June 20, 2008 from 5:00p.m. -9:00p.m. at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, Chapel of Remembrance. Recitation of the holy rosary will be at 7:00p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 9:00a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
