She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and going on family trips. She enjoyed playing bingo with her close friends: Margarita Salinas and Simo De la Cruz. She is preceded in death by her parents Miguel Calderon and Bertha Martinez. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Guillermo Gomez, Sons: Frank Gomez and wife Malena of Alvardo, Tx., Robert Asebedo of Grand Prairie, Tx., David Gomez and wife Irma of Grand Prairie, Tx., Daughters: Diana Gomez and husband Raul of Grand Prairie, Tx., Bertha Rivera Roop of Dallas, Tx., Lisa Martinez and husband Sergio of Grand Prairie, Tx., 19 Grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren, Brothers: Trinidad Martinez, Jr., Frank Martinez, Sister: Juanita Garcia and numerous nieces and nephews..
