Manuela S. Delgado, age 77, entered into rest on Sunday, October 29, 2017 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on February 29, 1940 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents Anastacio and Juana Solis. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Prudencio Delgado; sons Sergio Delgado (Lucinda), Gabriel Delgado (Nelda), Armando Delgado (Nicole), Alvaro Delgado (Hilda) and Juan Delgado (Mayra); daughters Leonarda Delgado, Lilliana Delgado Hernandez (Julio Cesar), and Alma Rosa De Leon (Mario); brother Estevan Jara; sister Oralia Jara; 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
