Josefina De La Rosa age 85, entered into rest on August 5, 2014 in Austin, Texas. She was born on March 20, 1929 in Del Rio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her Parents Gerardo Nunez and Rafaela. Son Eddie De La Rosa, Brothers Alfredo Nunez and Jorge Nunez, Sister Anita Nunez. Left to cherish her memory are her Sons Ernesto De La Rosa Jr. and wife Renee, Donald De La Rosa and wife Sylvia. Daughter Bertha Esparza and husband Angel. Brother Antonio Nieto, Sister Tomasita Saavedra. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary 7:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Gentlemen with the honor of Pallbearers: Eloy A. Martinez, Armando Fernandez, Salvador Jimenez, Jaime Saavedra, Juan Jose Veliz and David Lee Leyva. Interment to follow at San Felipe Cemetery.
